Brad focuses his law practices in the areas of family law, including divorce, custody disputes, child support, alimony, adoption, second parent adoptions, domestic partnership agreements, wills, trusts, estate planning, mediations, and collaborative law.
Brad received his Juris Doctor degree from Emory University School of Law. In law school, Brad earned the Dean’s Award for Advanced Civil Trial Practice, as well as Dean’s List recognition. He served as the President of the Emory Public Interest Committee and received the Dean’s Service Award. Brad also worked as a research assistant for a law professor who is a leading scholar on emerging family law issues..
Brad attended college at the University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated with honors in cultural anthropology. He is a third-generation Longhorn. Prior to joining Kitchens New Cleghorn, Brad practiced as a trial and litigation attorney in the fields of healthcare and disability law, products liability, and catastrophic injury, with additional litigation experience involving state tax enforcement and civil RICO violations.
